John Hall is a senior nurse leader with over 35 years of experience in the health sector. He is a registered Mental Health Nurse and Nurse Prescriber, with extensive experience in managing forensic services, including all ranges of secure mental health settings and high secure prisons, as well as the Dangerous and Severe Personality Disorder service in HMP Frankland.
John has recently served as the Regional Director of Nursing in the UK, overseeing 22 hospitals and 48 community services. His role encompassed all aspects of care delivery across mental health, learning disabilities (LD), Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), rehabilitation services, eating disorders services, and Acquired brain injury services. Additionally, John has been an advisor in the Royal College quality networks, demonstrating his commitment to maintaining high standards in healthcare.
Before joining Cygnet, John spent four years in Dubai at Al Amal Psychiatric Hospital for Maudsley Health, where the team advised the Ministry of Health and Prevention on the development of mental health services and worked as an operational senior manager.
His prior experience also includes a decade of work in commissioning and case management with NHS England and North-East Specialized Commissioning, where he was involved in assurance and delivery at both national and regional levels. John holds a master’s degree in leadership and management from the NHS Leadership academy and has developed and delivered a broad range of education to all allied health professionals. John has contributed to the development of standards in secure mental health, perinatal services, mental health and deafness, IAPT, learning disabilities, CAMHS, and community services through his work with the Royal College of Psychiatry.
John is currently the Director of Nursing at Sakina, where he is focused on developing and enhancing mental health services in the Abu Dhabi and Al Ain regions. He has a keen interest in research and development, aiming to push the boundaries of mental health care through innovation.

Dr. Zahraa Alyahyaee

Dr. Zahraa Alyahyaee is an experienced clinical embryologist currently serving as the Manager of Embryology at Corniche Hospital Fertility Centre. With over 18 years of experience in reproductive medicine, she has contributed significantly to the field of embryology through both her clinical expertise and academic research. Graduated with a Bachelor of Biological Sciences majoring in Genetics, Cell biology and Development from the University of Minnesota, USA and a Master of Science in Clinical Embryology from the University of Oxford. Research interest was pursued further with a Doctorate of Philosophy in Reproductive Science and Obstetrics and Gynecology from the University of Oxford where she focused on studying immune factors influencing early embryonic development, implantation and placentation. Throughout her academic journey, she has received several prestigious awards and scholarships. She has also been an active member of key professional societies such as the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology. Her research contributions include publications on reproductions and immune factors contributing towards the embryonic and maternal interaction and establishment of pregnancy. And a distinguished application - and it is characterized by high and influential capabilities in education and training in various nursing fields - and it possesses the ability to negotiate, persuade, change, and the ability to deal with higher and lower functional persons with propriety and the ability to communicate effectively between the different nursing categories - She is currently working - a member of the Egyptian Senate - the captain of the Egyptian Nursing General - a member of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Health Care - and she was appointed as the nursing officer in the Arab Board and the secretary of the Arab Nurses Union Committee and deputy secretary-general of the Arab Nurses Union and delegated on behalf of the union for any necessary procedures for the benefit of the union and communication Between him and the League of Arab States and the Council of Arab Ministers of Health to take the necessary decisions in favor of the Union in January 2018 - as well as a member of the Nursing Sector Committee and a member of the Board of Directors of some colleges and nursing institutes - and Chairman of the Nursing Committee of the League of Arab States November 2017.

She has prepared the most important books in the field of nursing, such as the Egyptian Nursing Rights Book, the Medical Terminology and English Language Book, and the Quality of Nursing Procedures Book.

I am a holder Master Degree Quality Management (MQM), Master Degree in Clinical Psychology (MsPsy). I am an American Board of Medical Quality (CMQ) holder, Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Six Sigma Black Belt Certified (SSBBC) from American Association of Quality (ASQ) and a Project Management Professional (PMP).
I am a data management specialist, part of SEHA’s NIHQM (National Inpatient Hospital Quality Measures) implementation and part of SKMC NDNQI (National Database for Nursing Quality Indicators) team that has established and maintained this initiative as the first hospital in the UAE.

She was also instrumental in selecting research fellowship candidates for training and funding, and in the development of research policies and regulations. Dr. Mohammed Alghamdi is the President of the Saudi Nurses and the General Director of Nursing at the Saudi Ministry of Health. Dr Alghamdi is the chair of the National Nursing Committee at the Saudi Health Council. Also, he serves as an adjunct assistant professor at King Saudi University.
Dr Alghamdi has worked for 28 years in various roles. He obtained his bachelor degree and master’s degree in nursing from the Jordanian University of Science and Technology in 2009 and the earned his PhD in Nursing Leadership and Health Care Innovation from University of San Diego California in 2017. Her Excellency Professor Rowaida AlMaaitah is a distinguished Jordanian academic and public servant with a wealth of experience in higher education and scientific research. She has made significant contributions to the development of the Jordanian educational landscape through her various roles and initiatives.
Professor AlMaaitah served as the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, where she oversaw the implementation of important educational reforms and policies. She also served as a Senator, contributing to the legislative process and representing the interests of her constituents.
Currently, she is the President of the Board of Trustees at Yarmouk University, a prestigious public university in Jordan. In this role, she provides strategic leadership and guidance to the university\'s administration and faculty. She is also a member of the higher Council of the National Centre for Curriculum Development, where she plays a key role in shaping the educational curriculum and standards in Jordan.
Additionally, Professor AlMaaitah serves as an Advisor to HRH Princess Muna EL Hussein for Health and Social Development. She is the Director of Nursing at the largest comprehensive nephrology services in the UAE. The services include inpatient and outpatient renal replacement therapies, paediatric nephrology, and specialized nephrology care for patients in the United Arab Emirates. She previously held the position of Manager, Quality and Performance Improvement at a tertiary academic medical center located in the United Arab Emirates and has worked in critical care, cardiac catheterization, perioperative services and inpatient units.

Nursing experience mainly in Cape Town South Africa and in the UAE in SEHA since 2007. I also have a keen interest in Nursing Informatics holding the application specialist role since 2012. Currently based in the UAE, she works as a Wound Care Consultant, having previously served as the Assistant Director of Nursing at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) in Abu Dhabi.
Gulnaz holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN, BSc) and a Postgraduate Diploma. She graduated at the top of her class in the province and completed her postgraduate studies with honors. In 2007, she furthered her international wound care expertise by completing the International Interprofessional Wound Care Course (IIWCC) from the University of Toronto. She earned her MSc in Skin Integrity from the University of Hertfordshire (UK) in 2014.
As a respected wound care educator, clinician, and researcher, Gulnaz is recognized as a key opinion leader both locally and internationally. In 2015, she founded the Ostomy Care and Management (OCM) course and currently serves as its course director. She is also a co-author of the fifth edition of the textbook Chronic Wound Care and has published over 25 papers in the field.
Among her significant contributions, Gulnaz introduced diabetic foot and pressure injury prevention programs across SEHA (the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company). She played a pivotal role in integrating the Wound Bed Paradigm into the electronic medical record (EMR) system with the help of CERNER for all SEHA facilities. Additionally, she has organized the annual Abu Dhabi Wound Care Conference for the past 16 years.
